Assignment 2 ( PROBLEM SOLUTION ESSAY)
STUDENT’S FINANCIAL PROBLEMS
“Hey Marie! I don’t have enough money to spend today, may I borrow yours?” All of us must have at least one kind of friend that would utter the same words like that to us. But why? Its because they have a problem with their financials and basically all of them were still a university student. Based on the survey that had been done in Ohio city, at least 60% of the student in their college were concerned about their college fees and the rest of them were worried on their daily expenses (Jeff,2015). Many students would be suffered if they could not overcome their financial problems. So, by hook or by crook they must solve this problem by doing a part time job, save some money to be used in future and lastly, control their passion in shopping.
Recently, financial problems among university students become worst day by day. These problem had become a quit vast issue. Actually their lifestyle have contributed to these problems.Majority of students were not able to manage their finance nicely. Some students had been burden with their university fees as they were unable to get any loan or scholarship. Their parents would give them some money for the university fees and their daily expenses but it would not be enough for them. Then, there were students that are able to get loan or scholarship, the money that has been provide are pretty much good enough for them to pay for their fees and expenses. But, there are some students that will use their money in a wrong way such as mingle around with their friends at the expensive place and so on so they do not save some of their money to be used in the next time. There were also a student who like to eat fast food or eating at the expensive restaurant. Students nowadays may be exhausted of their daily routine in college and may do not have interested in cooking, so fast food restaurant would be their choice as it makes their work become easy and the price it quite cheap (Hannah,2010). By the end of their semester they will find out that their money was not enough for them anymore. Next, students also have a quit bad habit as they love to shop even they do not have enough money. They do not know how to control their lust. They really love to spend their money in an online store. In a online store, we could notice that it was much more convenience for us to look for an available items rather than go to the store to shop (Patrick,ND).
Hence, it is important for the students to take action to overcome their financial problems. The students can have a part time job to earn some extra money that can be used for their expenses. Apart from getting an extra money, they will gain an experienced that can be used during applying a job after graduation. Next, the student should save some of their money so that they can used it in the future, do not use the money for an unimportant things. Will Smith said that “too many people spend money they haven’t earned, to buy things they don’t want, to impress people they don’t like”. Sometimes we as a people really love to buy something to be shown to others but at the same time we lost our money. So avoid doing those things. Lastly, the students should control their passion in shopping. Maybe they be friend to a rich person but do not follow their habits. If it is possible for them, do avoid online shopping as it can make them hooked with it.
In a nutshell, the financial problem is quite burden to the university students, but there are a lot of way and solution that can be used to overcome it. So, if the students know how to find an extra money, do some savings and shop wisely, they can overcome their financial problem.
